Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments to determine the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities or autism
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
- Provide behavioral therapy and interventions to clients, focusing on skill development and behavior management
- Monitor progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and caregivers to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Stay up-to-date on current research and best practices in behavioral health
Requirements:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities or autism
- Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and interventions
- Ability to conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Proficient in medical documentation and record keeping
